[Posto!] How to Make Filter 1 (Yahoo)

Lately there has been quite a number of emails coming from the iluvwarwick Yahoogroups. If we do not manage our inbox very well, it can be very annoying to receive flood of emails.

Therefore, I am going to teach you how to manage your inbox better, by  adding filter to filter you emails (obviously!).

This tutorial is only applicable for Yahoo Mail. The same tutorial for Gmail users will follow.

.

Step 1:In your email, click OPTIONS on the top right, then choose MAIL OPTIONS.

.

.

.

Step 2: Choose  FILTER  from the list of submenus and then CREATE OR EDIT FILTER

.

.

.

Step 3: Click ADD

.

.

.

.

Step 4: Fill up the relevant sections (circled in red as in the picture below). Then, choose the right folder that you want it to go to. But, if, prior to doing this, you do not have specific folder for the group of emails, follow the next step

.

.

.

Step 5: On the drop down menu, choose New Folder. Then, click Add Filter at the bottom left.

.

.

.

Step 6: Name your folder that you want the filtered emails go to. This will create a new folder

.

.

.

Step 7: You have now set your filter! You can check your filter settings by clicking on the spesific filter from the list. In the right hand side box, it shows what you have set for the filter.

.

.

.

Step 8: Your filter has now been set. You can click on the particular folder in your email to read all the filtered emails.

Wallahu’alam.
